Sourcing

Our investigations are built from public records: court filings, SEC and regulatory documents, official statements, earnings reports, and reporting from established news organizations. Where a story leans on a single source, we say so. Where accounts conflict, we present the conflict rather than picking a side silently.

Fact vs. analysis

Reconstructing decisions requires judgment. We keep a hard line between what is documented ("the board voted on…") and what is our reading of the evidence ("the likeliest explanation is…"). The signature section of every story, The Critical Choice, is analysis, and it's labelled by design.

Updates

Business stories don't end when we publish. When there are material developments (verdicts, settlements, resignations, new filings) we update the page and show the update date alongside the original publication date. Living pages (like "where are they now" posts) are reviewed on a recurring schedule.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct the page promptly and note the correction. Spotted an error? Email criticalchoiceyt@gmail.com, or comment on the relevant YouTube video, and every correction request gets reviewed.

Independence

Critical Choice is independent. We don't accept payment for coverage, and if sponsorship or affiliate relationships are ever introduced, they will be disclosed clearly on the pages they touch.

AI assistance

We use software, including AI tools, for research organization, transcription and drafting support. Every published story is human-directed: story selection, verification of key facts against sources, and the final edit.
